Thanks to the experience in the processes of retorting and freezing, Plantin offers truffles all year round, in glass jars or frozen. Apertization is a process of sterilization and preservation of truffles, as well as its numerous taste and aroma qualities. The truffle, this diamond of our land, is available in all its forms: extra, brushed 1st choice, chunks, skins, broken and truffle juice.
This intensely flavored truffle has been selected for its quality and carefully brushed before sterilization. It is then ready to use, passed through a mandolin, truffle grater, or microplane for a brisket effect, just before serving. You can also add truffle juice to it. This jar may contain one or more whole truffles.
